About Kaylee…
Kaylee Sandstrom has been with ClarionDoor for almost 2 years and is our Office Administrator extraordinaire! Not only does she handle the typical office admin stuff, she is also involved in human resources, onboarding new employees, marketing events, credentialing carriers on CD MGA Hub, and invoicing to name a few. We sat down with Kaylee recently for a little fun Q&A…
Before working at ClarionDoor, what was the most unusual job you ever had?
When I was 14, I worked for a local fortune cookie company. I was in charge of decorating and creating the fortunes that the customers would receive. You could say I was the in-house fortune teller. 🙂
What is your favorite activity to do when not at work?
Scuba Diving or Sailing – Both of these activities provide a reminder at just how small I am in the grand scheme of things, that there is a WHOLE other world we barely get to venture into and connect with. If you like to Scuba I recommend the Santa Barbara Channel Islands, untouched and beautiful beyond your wildest dreams. Watch out for Great Whites in the kelp beds ;)!
What was the first and last concert you went to?
First concert – Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, went with my dad when I was 8 years old and got the music bug.
Last concert – Lynyrd Skynyrd, funny enough it was a gift for my dad right before Covid hit. Freebird is the Sandstrom family anthem!
What is your favorite quote?
“If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person ” Mr. Rogers
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Bali, Indonesia. World class diving and mountain climbing.
What do you like most about ClarionDoor?
I like that my job challenges me every day in varied areas, providing me with an array of tasks. Each day is unique. I get to interact with such a diverse and talented group of people, and value each connection made. Therefore, I am always pushing the bounds of what I know, improving on the previous day and creating lasting connections. Thank you ClarionDoor!
