About Maddy…

Maddy joined the ClarionDoor team a little over three years ago as a software developer. She is one of the talented team members that develops the ultramodern CD Quoting Portal and helps with client integrations. We had a chance to sit down with Maddy for some fun Q&A…

Before working at ClarionDoor, what was the most unusual job you ever had?

I worked on a small ranch in Montana one summer during college. I cleaned cabins during the day but got to go horseback riding, skeet shooting and tubing in our free time. It was a blast!

What is your favorite activity to do when not at work?

It depends on the season. In the winter – snowboarding. In the summer – hiking and trail running. I live in Denver, CO, so really anything I can do in the mountains!

What was the first and last concert you went to?

First concert – The Killers

Last concert – Trevor Hall (as soon as Red Rocks reopened after the COVID shutdown, we bought the first tickets we could find)

What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite vacation spot?

I love traveling so it is hard to pick just one! I always try to go to new places but some of my favorites are Bonaire for scuba diving, and Stockholm, Sweden, or Munich for the history and food!

What do you like most about ClarionDoor?

I am constantly challenged and get to work with a great team. It seems like every day is a new adventure, whether it is solving a new challenge or developing new features. I love working on a team of people where I feel comfortable reaching out to anyone and can learn from so many others.
