About Saeed Pourali…
Saeed joined the ClarionDoor team in mid-2019. As a Software Architect, he is part of the design and architecture team that develops new features and services for the Product Distribution front end dashboard. We recently connected with Saeed for a fun Q&A!
Before working at ClarionDoor, what was the most unusual job you ever had?
From when I was ten until I went to the university, I worked in an electrical service and repair shop during the summertime. That was my summer training. The funny part when I started at the university to become an electrical engineer, I had more experience in the field than most of my teachers.
What is your favorite activity to do when not at work?
After work, my favorite activities are solving problems, coding, making applications, and learning new technologies. Because I love doing these, I don’t feel like I’m working even while at work! However, playing music, cooking, and outdoor activities are the other activities that I love to do.
What was the first and last concert you went to?
First concert – I’m sure it wasn’t my first one. However, it was the first memorable event! When I was a young teenager, I went to a concert by M.R Shajarian. It was his first one-night event after several years. He was a legend in Persian Music and one of my role models growing up. The event was in another city, about 2 hours from my hometown, and not very safe trip for a young teenager. It was so worth it though! I still remember that night.

What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite vacation spot?
Besides traveling to so many countries, I experienced various cultures in different countries. I love to visit places that I haven’t been to before. However, a green mountain forest or an all-inclusive beachfront resort always is my favorite relaxation spot.
What do you like most about ClarionDoor?
I like the company’s culture, people, and technology. ClarionDoor has a great, flexible work-life balance by letting people work remotely and/or in the office. It creates an excellent opportunity to be surrounded by friendly, supportive, and intelligent people. I love working in an innovative environment to implement solutions with cutting-edge technologies.
